Ghenadie Cristel is an insurance agent and a financial security advisor working a company in Montreal and surrounding areas. Before working with Building Income On Demand Ghenadie Cristel used to run after clients and had some troubles on finding proven systems to attract new potential clients. He used to advertise in local journals but it didn't work much. Then one of his friends and our client referred him our 6 week marketing bootcamp.
Before working with Building Income On Demand, Ghenadie did not know how to get more calls from potential clients using Social Media without having to run ads, as it was too complicated and costly. He was looking for proven systems to generate quality leads. His only ways of getting clients were cold-calling and advertising in local journals.
Main goal was to build a brand and to raise awareness, so people will come him directly when needed an insurance policy. Our team needed to concentrate on creating an image on Facebook and interact with different communities to build trust offering content on his behalf.
These were the expectations that Ghenadie had from Building Income On Demand and from our 6 weeks marketing bootcamp:
Ghenadie is very charismatic, so he believed that his face would attract more people if we created more video content. This is exactly was our plan.
The page only had around 30 Likes, so we had to revive the page and make it work.
Since ads budget was very low, our ideas were to make people react to his valuable content and let them connect with Ghenadie directly.
We had many obstacles at the beginning as Ghenadie had almost no online presence and barely had any audience who followed him.
1) Very poor online presence
2) No branding
3) Facebook Page has less than 40 Likes
4) Zero knowledge in Social Media platforms
In addition to that, insurance industry is very saturated and has a lot of restrictions on how to advertise on the internet. We had to plan everything accordingly to the rules without compromising our proven digital marketing strategies.
Insurance agents are facing many issues on the internet as oppose to Insurance Brokers, as they have to respect all the rules provided by their company without question. This is the biggest challenge we had to overcome.
Most of insurance brokers do not have proper online presence, which is why a lot of them are struggling to have any results using Social Media as promotional platforms.
Those are not only issues insurance brokers face. It also includes lack of trust and lack of clarity. Study shows over 50% of people don't trust insurance policies which is huge disadvantage brokers have to deal with.
Also over 70% of consumers say, that they do not understand properly the language and the wording professional insurance brokers use to make life easier for potential clients.
All this was covered in the work done.
We have this all in our FIRE strategy as those steps are the heart of the successful ad campaigns for insurance.
First Ghenadie needed to fill out the Ideal Client form in order for us to understand where to look for potential leads. Marketers call it an Avatar, someone who fits the description of being actually the IDEAL client for Ghenadie.
Idea was super simple! We needed to create engaging content on his Facebook page, so his existing followers would react and create momentum.
Most of the content motivated people to click CALL button or send a MESSAGE. The funnest part is the butterfly effect that started to happen when we implemented some of the tricks to make audience react. Once Ghenadie started to get get 5 - 10 leads/month, customers were getting such great service they were inviting friends to Like his page and suggest him in any possibly way.
As an example local Facebook Groups when someone inquired about a good insurance policies or a trusted agent to reach out, Ghenadie was always mentioned more than once, which boosted his brand awareness and scaled client flow.
Most insurance brokers and agent neglect the power of local groups as they probably believe, that there is no need to promote themselves in there. Beautiful part all this is the community! Community supports their own pack if they can trust the person, so make one client happy and the person will refer you at any possible moment. We asked Ghenadie to join most popular Russian-Moldavian speaking groups and participate there as a member.
This trick even helped us to get first clients when we did not have budget for the ads!
Video content in the ads actually work sometimes even better than the picture, as it is part of the value and the image you create for your audience. They can hear your voice and see your face, so they have more trust towards you.
Those ads catch attention like a magic! It has an interesting content, a sexy offer and a real person all we needed to do is to gather the leads in the CRM.
All the leads were gathered in the system called GoHighLevel where we could track every single move of that lead through Facebook Pixel and have all the necessary information needed for William to do his part of the work.
As result of the work done we have been able to build system of referrals and continuous content he now could create without having to work with us yet still get those leads.
Followers grew organically and were all real people reacting to his content and using his service. Most of those 306 people are actually his clients and that is an amazing thing! Those people were more interested to react to his content.
What fascinated us in the growth he had organically is the consistence as it usually happens if you do not run ads, Page become slow overtime and people see it less and less. However since people love Ghenadie as a person and love his service, every picture or video we posted with his face always got tons of likes and comments. This led to less Unlikes and more Likes, plus engagement always stayed between 10-15% where normally pages have 2-5% maximum.
This whole organic campaign was so successful, that during our first year of work Ghenadie sent us a letter from his company as congratulations for being TOP salesman for several months. This is our biggest achievement in this case, if you understand what being TOP salesman in insurance means!
